What it is
A connected hospitality ecosystem, starting with wine.
Vinelog started as a way to make wine discovery feel more personal. Sotto expands that idea across restaurants, education, wineries, and the people connecting them. The vision is a shared hospitality system where better context in one place makes every other experience better, while preserving the taste and domain knowledge that made the project worth building.
Why it exists
Hospitality products keep rebuilding fragments of the same understanding: the bottle, the producer, the restaurant, the guest, and the reason they belong together. Sotto lets that context compound without flattening the expertise that gives it value.
Project timeline
WinePicks
A recommendation and discovery system connected people to wines through taste, then carried that intelligence into restaurant services.
Vinelog
The work became a consumer product and a deeper model of wines, producers, regions, and the relationships between them.
The system expands into Sotto
Vinelog, Sommwise, and Ensalle now share one hospitality entity system across discovery, education, wineries, and restaurants.
