Speaking of Vista, the Feb 2006 CTP was released late last week. This build is feature-complete and is the first public build to feature the Sidebar.
I downloaded the ISO but haven't gotten around to testing it on the M200 yet. I just got back my replacement hard drive and finished rebuilding my machine, so I think I may wait a couple of weeks this time. I was running 5231 for awhile before going back to XP Tablet for several reasons and I never got around to testing 5270 on the Tablet.
Colin has documented his initial impressions so far but no full review yet. I'll try to live vicariously through him until I get around to installing it myself. Colin also mentions that Craig was able to extend the loan period and is loading 5308 on the M400. Rob Chartier also installed Vista on his laptop and even posted a set of screenshots.
If the Media Center is compatible with the XBOX 360 (previous builds were not), I may decide to run it on my desktop as well.
Who else is running the Feb CTP? What are your thoughts on it? Has performance improved?
