Although I was initially hesitant, I saw Brokeback Mountain with my girlfriend last week. I'm glad I did. It is simply an amazing film, as evidenced (perhaps) by the 4 Golden Globes it took home last night, including Best Picture (Drama).
It is certainly of the most moving screenplays in recent memory... I would put it up there with Million Dollar Baby.
Do yourself a favor, put aside the whole "gay cowboy" thing and see this movie.
