How do you feel about RSS advertising?

Some sites (Engadget and LonghornBlogs, for example) are already testing Adsense in RSS. Scoble reports that this program is now in public beta, as announced at the Syndicate conference here in NY.

I agree with Robert's scale of "RSS goodness". I very, very rarely stay subscribed to any feed that does not offer full-text content, so I can assure you that my weblog - and all Slashstar sites for that matter - will always provide full-text feeds. For me, the line between ad-free partial text feeds and ad-supported full-text feeds is a big one. That is, I much prefer ads to partial content. More importantly, keeping in the AdSense spirit, I haven't found them to be overly distracting on the sites currently testing them.

Then again, I also realize this site isn't Engadget. This is a personal weblog and my primary goal is writing about what I (and hopefully others) find interesting. I enjoy having this outlet and I greatly appreciate those who take the time to read what I've written.

If I can make a little money, it would certainly help rationalize the time I've invested in this space. It is definitely a secondary goal, and I don't want any efforts here to undermine the principal reasons for this site. I've added AdSense on the site already, but the majority of those reading this probably haven't even noticed - most readers, as one might expect, do so by way of the syndicated feeds.

So, an open question to my readers: how would you feel if I were to include AdSense ads in my RSS feeds? Would you unsubscribe? Would it change any expectations you have for my content?
