For those of you unfamiliar with the Madden Curse, a little history: since EA starting putting players on the cover, each have suffered injuries or a significant decline in purchase. First Eddie George. Then Culpepper went from a 33 TD year to a 23 INT year and knee injury. Then Marshall Faulk. Then Mike Vick. Ray Lewis at least avoided injury, but his team suffered.
It looks like McNabb will be the Madden 2006 cover boy. Uh oh. Is that bad news for TO and McNabb owners? :)
In other Madden news, there will be a commercial during the first hour of the NFL draft. If the screenshots are any indication, this is going to be one amazing game. At it looks like QB awareness will finally matter.
