Restaurant Week is back - $20.12 lunches and $35 dinners all around the city.
We had dinner at Bolo last night. I had very low expectations, considering I hated Mesa Grill (Bobby Flay's first restaurant). I was pleasantly surprised though - in fact, I would even go so far to say it was excellent. (Mesa Grill, as you might expect, is Southwestern, while Bolo is Spanish cuisine). Very tasty indeed. I might even consider going back, which is saying a lot since I despise Bobby Flay!
I'm having lunch with my father at Dawat with my father on Friday, followed by dinner with a few friends at Guastavino's next Tuesday.
Ouch. I guess I'm going to have to hit the gym a lot this week - or at least get more sleep.
