NetFlix has always seemed like a really cool model, but I just don't watch enough movies to make it worth my while. Recently there have been a few similar sites that opened up offering the same service for video games (ie Gamefly). Again, I have a few games for my XBox and barely have enough time to play them - but it's still a neat idea.
Blockbuster recently launched a competitor to NetFlix, and their service even includes nice things like free in-store rentals. I'm a bit surprised that they don't also offer video games on their service, combining NetFlix and GameFly. Seems like an interesting way to differentiate their service from both. I can already do this with Blockbuster (there's none close to me now, so I don't rent often).
I feel like I would be more likely to subscribe to a service like that than either of the two individually...
