Just finished watching Shrek 2 (yeah, I'm a few weeks behind). Quite enjoyable film, and a great way to end a relaxing weekend.
I thought one of the funniest scenes was when the scared townsfolk ran from the FarBucks they were in to the FarBucks across the street.
Originally we were going to see Fahrenheit 9/11, but we obviously we didn't. I did read (some of) the transcript (part 1, part 2). As I said in the past, I am skeptical of close-minded zealots. I wouldn't say Moore is necessarily close-minded, but he's certainly got a strong political agenda and is a bit of a zealot. So while I enjoyed his previous work, a lot of it will be taken with a grain of salt. Plus, after reading David Kopel's 56 Deceits in Fahrenheit 9/11, I know how being clever he is being with his “true facts”.
Still, I will see it. Soon.
