I stopped with a friend of mine at the 1-hour photo behind our building. He paid $30 for double prints of two rolls of pictures. After looking at the table of contents picture, his girlfriend realized that some of the pictures weren't printed.
So my friend went back in, telling them they needed to reprint certain ones.
I sat there in amazement as this woman told my friend that she didn't print a number of them on purpose. She agreed to reprint them, but her explanation to him was that one picture was “too dark” and that in another “he wasn't looking at the camera”.
Apparently, the 1-hour photo is doing some quality control on the pictures they print for you.
Sorry, sir, you can't have your roll back - the composition was weak, and the lighting was all wrong.
Another reason I like digital photography :)
