As I mentioned awhile back, I'm going to start posting more non-technology related stuff now that we can keep them out of the aggregated main feed. Seeing Rob's post inspired me to start blogging about music.
My taste is pretty broad - I've been into rap, hardcore punk, stuff that would be on Headbanger's Ball, electronica / trip-hop, classic rock, even a bit of classical and some jazz.
I was the hip-hop music director at my college radio station a few years back. In fact, somehow I'm still on a few mailing lists from when I moved it to my parents' house in the summer, so I still get promo-only CDs.
Long story short, I listen to a lot of music. I'm going to post about new (to me) music that I happen to be listening to.
I have two goals with this: I want other people to find new music that may interest them, and I want to find new music myself. I've found many of my favorite artists through recommendations, and I'm hoping that anyone who reads here will have at least a few suggestions for me.
