The word of the day is 'frigid'

Wow. It's cold out there.

When I went to school upstate, the cold didn't bother me. It was regularly 10 degrees, and since campus was on the Hill, the wind was pretty bad too. It was always bad the first time it got really cold - but eventually I felt your body adjusted to the weather and it just felt 'normal'.

Maybe it was because I was usually drunk then, or maybe I'm just getting old. Or maybe it's part of the transition from a jocky college fratboy to a pansy corporate type.

Whatever the reason, the cold today doesn't feel any less cold than the cold last week. And the cold last week was pretty f'ing cold.

Today, there was some dude preaching the word of God in front of the museum at Bowling Green. I've seen him before. As usual, he was telling us that Jesus was coming and that He (Jesus) was going to save us.

Then, the quote of the day: a passerby turns to him and says “Hate to break it to you, but Jesus isn't coming today. It's too f'ing cold, even for him.”
