Just saw an ad for the next Joe Millionaire show. This time, they go do the same thing to a bunch of European women. While I applaud the effort to show that the greed and pettiness extends beyond our American women, I still think they're missing the boat on this one.
The show would be infintiely more interesting if they used some fat, ugly and/or old guys instead.
Think about it this way - you're on a show and they bring out some model-looking Heidi Klum-type out, and tell you she's worth a not-so-small fortune. Sweet. Then they tell you she's not rich. So what, she's still hot!
It would be much more interesting, I think, if the next, next Joe Millionaire looked a little more like, say, Bill Gates, 20 years older and 50 pounds heavier.
