I've been using OneNote for my classes that started last week. While it's pretty good for what I need to do, and it does seem to be good for organization, I of course have my pet peeves. I've had a few complaints. Hopefully some of them get addressed in Microsoft's RTM release.
- Thinner and/or more adjustable pens
- Additional plug-in brushes (a la Photoshop)
- The ability to change the color and stroke of existing ink
- Saved notebooks ( right now it saves sections, and a 'notebook' is just the what sections you happen to have open. I'd prefer to save what sections are open as well)
- Plug-in / development support
The only other thing that I would like to see is a more natural writing more a la Windows Journal. OneNote is great for organization etc, but it would be nice to be able to enter in and erase as in Journal and still take advantage of OneNote advanced features. And no, copying in Ink from Journal isn't a great solution - especially since it seems to copy as an image, with a white background.
