As Scott and James pointed out, WROX is going to be closing its doors.
Maybe I just didn't get the right books, but at least the ones I did have from them seemed to be more useful as a doorstop than anything else. I've heard that some of the books were excellent though, and that they didn't do a great job of screening out the lesser ones.
Oh, and the pictures of the authors on the cover really bothered me :)
Then again, it's kind of suprising though, because you see those red books everywhere. Hell, that was all my company bought for awhile, which is part of the reason I bought all my own books! I thought they were a pretty major publisher - hope this isn't a sign of things to come!
