Well, Jesse, never mind my last post, since you obviously new about editable="true". But if you're interested, I'll still try to put the XML document editor control together this weekend.
More importantly, thanks for the post bringing FreeTextBox to my (our) attention. Really, really cool. I'm going to use it on a site I'm building now. Otherwise I was going to end up building something similar myself, as the site didn't warrant purchasing a commercial product for this.
Scott - what are the chances for us to use something like this on DotNetWeblogs.com? I know you mentioned awhile back that you'd like the editors to be "plug-and-play" so people could change it up. This might a good a time as any to take a look at this!
