From Gizmodo:
New Digital Media Adapter from Linksys that connects to your stereo system for streaming audio from your PC. A version that'll let you stream video should be out later this year.
Cool! I have my PC going directly in to my receiver now, but it would be nice to eliminate the wires.
Although, I've been tempted for the longest time to build my own Media Center PC. I have a good primary box, but it's in a big tower, and these are all about form factor. (Actually, the one that I've been really impressed at was the Alienware Navigator Pro - but that's a lot of money for what I would be using as a glorified TiVO).
It looks like it would be around 200$ or so. At that price, I'd have to think about it, especially without the video, but it's still neat to see the convergence.
Speaking of which, does TiVO have the ability to sync over WiFi instead of dialing in yet?? I vowed I wouldn't get one while I had to plug a phone cable in :)
