More feedback on .NET Weblogs

Deepak has raised some good points in response to my initial feedback - which, as he pointed out, Scott was rather quick to respond to already. I've never used Radio, but from judging from others' horror stories, it's nice to have such a capable and responsive developer at the helm here.

Anyways - some recursive feedback of my own:

  • The title (logo) in the default template is not a link and good usability dictates that the title or logo should be made a link atleast from the non home pages. Atleast I have a tendency to reach the home page by clicking the title. Same is the case with few other templates.

The CandidBlue theme - which I am using, and according to Scott is rather popular - has a clickable title, so in the interim you may considering using this one. But it's a very good point. Once we have the ability to provide custom templates, I'll be sure to make a few new ones - with, of course, a clickable title.

  • As far as I know The Archives are not maintained currently. Could be something Scott is working on right now. In the absence of a Search engine, I think archives will be a good help.

A search engine is a great idea, but using categories can be pretty good substitute for organizing this. I don't know what you mean about not maintaining archives, but every post I've made in the short time I've used it all seem to be available, by both date and in the categories sections.
