After lusting over it for a year, I finally broke down and ordered a Toshiba M200. I opted for the 1.8ghz Centrino model with 512x1 RAM and the 7200 RPM, 80 GB drive. I also have another 1 GB SODIMM on the way, which will leave me with a pretty beefy machine.
The Acer has served me well over the past year and a half, but I felt it was time to upgrade. It's about a pound heavier and a few inches larger than the Acer - I hope it's not too big! The higher resolution along with the extra screen real estate should be nice though.
I'll post some my thoughts on the Toshiba, especially as compared to the Acer, after I get it. Update: It's been shipped!
If anyone is interested in purchasing a used Acer C110 with a second battery, let me know...
